FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE
ScriptX makes direct ZPL/EPL printing available from Internet Explorer
Cambridge, UK - March 10, 2008 (INB) -- A new release of Mead & Co's
ScriptX - the de facto add-on for absolute control of printing from
Internet Explorer - now makes the printing of ZPL/EPL data strings and
files directly out of the browser available to publishers whose clients
need to work with programmable devices such as Zebra label printers.
The new release is fully compatible with IE7 and IE8 Beta 1 on Windows
XP and Windows Vista, and all the way back to IE 4.01 SP1 on Windows 9.x.
ScriptX is deployed - both 'free' and fully-licensed - by developers and
document authors to provide enhanced and consistent printing, and these
days is installed on many millions of Windows client machines. The product
can also be licensed to support printing from Windows servers and from
desktop applications, and can be bundled with ISV's own applications.
ScriptX has been available since 1998 and is well-documented, with full
reference guides and advisories online. The 'standard' annual subscription
includes an entitlement to unlimited support via email and access to new
versions of the software as and when released. There is no limit to the
number of users per licence, giving customers control over all of their
HTML printing at prices starting at less than $2 per day.
