SitePoint Unveils New Content Strategy; Poaches Influential Blogger

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - July 11, 2008 (INB) -- Online media company SitePoint today announced a new strategy to bring news and insight to web professionals around the world.

In addition to the regular high quality tutorials for which SitePoint has become renowned, a new News & Trends section will feature prominently on the front page of one of the world's busiest web sites.

Regular updates throughout the day will keep web professionals up to speed, with expert commentary providing insight and distilling the wealth of information online into an exciting must-read blog.

Coinciding with this new content offering is the announcement that Josh Catone, former senior blogger from ReadWriteWeb, has joined the SitePoint team on a full-time basis. Recognized as the 13th most prolific tech blogger in the world in April this year, Josh will play a critical role in delivering this new strategy.

SitePoint Co-Founder Matt Mickiewicz comments, "Others just report the news- we'll be providing insight into what's important on the Web, and why. This new blog will become a must-read for every web professional who wants to keep their finger on the pulse."

The newly designed front page and first round of news posts are available at www.sitepoint.com.
