PhatWare Upgrades PenOffice to Version 2.6
New Features Include Customizable Keyboard; Auto-Corrector;
Swedish Handwriting Recognition Support and More
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - January 13, 2005 (INB) -- PhatWare
Corporation, a leading provider of software products and
professional services for mobile and desktop computers,
announces the new version of PenOffice, handwriting
recognition software for Microsoft Windows Powered Tablet
and Desktop PCs. Some new features this improved version of
PenOffice includes are: a customizable keyboard with 13
predefined layouts; Auto Corrector which improves the
quality of handwriting recognition; and support for multi-
monitor systems.
PenOffice 2.6 is available in two editions: English and
Multilingual. While both editions have the same feature set,
the Multilingual Edition offers handwriting recognition in
8 Western European languages. In addition to Dutch, English,
French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, the new
version now adds support for Swedish handwriting
recognition.

PenOffice's technology is based on the award-winning

PenOffice can be used in conjunction with PhatPad, an

with PenOffice at a discounted price directly from the

PenOffice 2.6 is available for the purchase price of only
$49.95 on the PhatWare Web site, http://www.phatware.com.
The upgrade is free to registered users of version 2.x and
is offered at a discounted rate to users of previous
versions.
