Hanna's new book offers a comprehensive guide to starting a vending
business and how to avoid vending machine scams. Thousands of Americans
are lured daily into promises of "get rich quick" vending machine
business opportunities by unscrupulous business organizations all over
the USA and the world. The sales pitch is desirable, believable and to
many prospects-affordable! By the time prospects realize they have been
scammed, it is invariably too late. Vending scams move from town to town,
leaving the latest victims to struggle with a wide variety of challenges
including financial losses, depression, divorce, loss of previous employment
and similar stark realities. Such actions also render a black eye to the
vending industry. Hanna’s book reveals everything investors should know
about vending, including the methods used by scams to lure investors by
using a wide variety of business opportunity advertisements in newspapers,
magazines, television, radio, direct mail, and email and by telemarketing
professionals. In many cases the victims are targeted by age, income and
other criteria predetermined to expedite the sale. Vending scam victims
soon realize that they paid three or four times the market value of the
vending machines. They also learn that the projected sales they were
promised would be almost impossible to achieve. The placement of the
machines, are usually a scam within a scam, because a separate company
is introduced to fulfill the false promises of the vending machine
promoters.
The quality of the machines purchased would not normally be the heavy duty
vending equipment that they would have needed to secure the types of
accounts they were promised.
"I cover important strategies such as financing and how to get it. I offer
insight on how much to pay for a vending business and all the pros and cons
of working for established vending companies versus owning your own vending
company and much more. Since the tragedy of September 11, there are
thousands
of people searching for business opportunities due to layoffs and other
financial hardships. I hope to educate those who may be vulnerable but
capable
of launching and operating a successful vending business, if educated
properly
from the start."
The book (Cassette and CD series also available) outlines how to start a
vending business and also how to detect scams. The reader will achieve a
better appreciation for the wide variety and types of vending machines and
services being offered in the market. What should you do when you suspect a
scam or realize that you are a victim of a scam? You will learn "no
nonsense"
answers to questions such as: How much money will you need to start? What
equipment is the best type to own initially? How much profit will you make?
How large a business should you want to grow? How much capital do you have?
How much capital will you need to borrow? Hanna also shares his twelve
leading principles on vending, plus answers to hundreds of other questions
that investors never thought of asking...but definitely should be asking.
You will learn how to get new vending locations and implement marketing and
sales strategies that Charles Hanna used in his multi-million dollar vending
business since 1976.
Born in Jamaica to Lebanese parents, Hanna arrived broke and destitute in
the
USA in 1976 after his family lost most of their business assets and real
estate
holdings due to war and political upheaval in both countries. A new
immigrant
to America and financially devastated, Hanna immediately began investigating
small business opportunities. He soon became a victim of a vending scam.
However,
in spite of the adversity, he quickly built one of the largest and most
successful
family owned and operated full service vending organizations in Kansas City
and a
one-of-a-kind vending network in the world. Over the years he served as a
board
member for a variety of business and community organizations and committees
including his local Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
